Once upon a time, the world had promise, and life. Then the Helium Wars happened, and for a moment, it seemed like both were gone. But out in the desert, hope manages to survive.
Once upon a time, there were four young men who traveled around the desert, fighting crime against the evil Battery City and their Draculoid agents. They were accompanied most often by a young Girl with a boom box.. and occasionally an older girl with a spark in her eye.
9 years ago, there was a horrible accident. The older girl was terribly injured, and the younger was kidnapped. The four men were able to find and save them both, at the cost of their own lives.
9 years have passed, and the two young women have grown up. The Zones are in much better shape than when they were young, but the threat from Battery City continues to loom. Folks go missing. Supplies appear in strange places. A few people develop abilities. And something is keeping the occupants of the Zones from seeing what's on the Outside.
The desert holds memory. Memory will be the key. And sisterhood will be the salvation.
