Summary
Anya had been throwing these horrendous pick-up lines at him all morning, and lunch is when she decided to properly go all out.
Damian didn’t hate the cheesiness of it all; no, in fact, at first he even found them quite cute! It was just the amount of pick-up lines that was doing him in. Every other sentence had a cheesy, pun-filled flirt drilled inside.
Was there no end to the madness?
or: despite the fact that they're literally dating, anya is tormenting damian with corny pick-up lines.

“Have you, now?” he smiled. "Then you must have really been enjoying the book."

Summary
“Why do we have to waltz anyway?!”
“Outside of it being mandatory for Eden students? No reason, really,” he shrugged, picking at his nails. “I’m not sure how many reasons to waltz a commoner would have anyway. It’s more important for students who’ll attend formal parties and such.”
A smile lit up her face, hopeful, tugging at his soul. As he looked at her, a silly little thought crossed his mind, making his heart skip a beat.
“...Unless, uh, unless you marry someone who’ll have to attend said formal parties,” he quietly added, watching as her smile dropped into a pout. “Then you’ll have to know how to waltz.”
Anya blew a raspberry in his direction, "Boo! I hope the waltz goes out of style by the time we have to marry anyone. It sucks!"
Damian cleared his throat and rose from his chair, waving for her to get up.
"Well, before we have to think about any of that, we've got a Stella to earn. Back to practice we go."
or: damian and anya have been paired up for the annual waltz, and since a stella is on the line, damian wants them to practice. it goes... well?

Summary
His hand on her back shifted ever so slightly along with her sense of balance - not that she was paying attention. Her head was flooded with a barrage of her own thoughts, so loud that she couldn’t even hear his, because-
Because his arm was clutching her back carefully but firmly so that she wouldn’t fall, and she was holding onto him for dear life, and they were both really sweaty and tired and gross, and by God, this was anything but a romantic situation yet here she was, having thoughts and realisations. She was starting to become aware of her own deathly grip on his shirt as her knuckles were tiring out, but his lower lashes were so long and pretty and his eyes were so gentle and concerned (for her) and the entirety of his face looked like it would be so soft to the touch, so how could she ever dare to move?
or: anya realizes she's in love with damian when she's about to fall on her butt and she's very peeved about the whole situation.

Summary
"Researcher, please," they almost-whisper. "Hate me all you want for not telling you and I'll deserve it, but I– I can't. I can't. I don't want to say it again."
…
Ah.You swallow. You organize your puzzle pieces in your head, and fit them together; take it apart, reorganize them differently, try again; try again—it's the same shape, every time. You agree, you think, that it should be Siffrin that tells you of his experience, but Loop was involved too. Loop is feeling effects too. Loop has their own side in this.
(In the middle of the final night spent at the Clocktower, Odile speaks with the mysterious new addition to her party.)

Madame Odile came out of her tent and joined the group, Crafting book in hand. “What's happening?”
Isabeau smiled awkwardly. “I thought I saw something, but let me check again, I'm pretty sure it was nothing!”
“Wait, what do you think you saw?”
“It's kinda embarrassing, but--”
A darkless blur dashed out of the tent. Siffrin skidded to a stop in front of the party, spun on their heel, and unsheathed their dagger.
He was followed by Siffrin, Siffrin, Siffrin, and Siffrin.

Summary
Susie knew music was important. It made you remember the things you forgot. It kept your feelings trapped in one place. It overwrote old memories with new ones. She didn't think anything of it when Toriel let her pick the music on the way home from the diner. Not until she really knew Kris.
Not until she realized Hometown was filled with things that already happened—things no one really wanted to talk about in words.
Or: Susie, some old CDs, and a big, underwhelming smalltown mystery.
