They say it, they do it, maybe Miles will take Phoenix’s hand from Phoenix’s lap and hold it at all the red lights between here and the airport—they can allow themselves these things, when everything’s made up and the points don’t matter.
They’ve had the sex, Phoenix has taken his shower, maybe Miles will get soppy and do the thing with the hand in the car but—now they’re done. Until next time.
