Summary
After everything that has happened, the Doctor has been grounded to Earth until he learns to cope with his trauma rather than run from it.
The TARDIS has thus collected some of his friends in order to help him heal. Well, friends and someone who he has an infinitely complex relationship with. They are to watch the Doctor's adventures, taken from points all across the Doctor's timeline. Some will be good; some will be bad.
DOES NOT REQUIRE KNOWLEDGE OF THE EU TO UNDERSTAND. If you haven't experienced the EU (which I recommend), you'll just be 'watching' it for the first time along with the companions.
I occasionally talk about how the next chapter is going on my Tumblr @gallifreyanhotfive if you guys wanted details on how it's all going.

Summary
Rose is the maid of honour for Shareen’s wedding, and she’s somehow managed to persuade the Doctor to be her plus one. But the Doctor, unsurprisingly, doesn’t seem all that enticed by a day of romance and weddings, and Rose is starting to draw the attention of others, one of whom is Rose’s ex-fiance, Jimmy Stone.
A good old fashioned tale of jealousy, romance and a little bit of protective Ten at a wedding as Rose’s plus one. Rated T for language.

Summary
“This isn’t school, this isn’t being picked for the sports team or studying to get into the top maths class. This is about you, what you draw to you. It wasn’t that you didn’t demonstrate enough Good Girlfriend Qualities to win Jimmy’s love, and it wasn't that you didn’t tick all the right boxes for him to ask you to marry him. He was drawn to you, like a gravitational pull that suns have on their solar systems. Your energy, your warmth, your humour and understanding and strength and compassion and all the things that make you you. Of course, after a while he was drawn to something else - himself, by the sounds of it - but that didn’t stop you from burning bright in the centre of your solar system any less.”
Ten x Rose, in a bar, bumping into Jimmy Stone along the way. T for swears and implicit mention of DV. Fluff.
