Summary
The world never seemed to stop fighting. Pulling her soldiers into battles she knows they’ll never win, as if to punish them for wrongdoings they are unaware of. Making lives harder than the universe should allow within itself.
Minds digging into despair that can only be explained by mental decay, or bodies breaking with every movement. It’s the lifelong struggles that are the hardest to face. As they are the wars that have no definite ending in sight. Will this illness finally stop my breaths, or continue to penalise me for crimes I didn’t commit?
Questions continue to swirl the minds, to entertain the subconscious of anything but their eventual death.

I have heard that sentence ring through every assembly, church garden and dining table. Rumours masked as caution for the children. Cautionary tales I have grown to wonder about the validity of, that maybe they are not as the people say. That they are not the Devil. That maybe, out of pure willpower, I can present a thesis that proves that the family they call Satan was of angels.
If I can prove that my hesitation all those years ago was not based on a dream of vengeance, but rather evidence that people have ignored. If there is a motive, there is way.

Thank you for your adoring words in your last letter, as well as keeping your promise. As you always do. Never once missing a show, just as I have never not purchased your works of sonnets and fantasy.
I do hope one day I can publicly reciprocate your admiration instead of in private using ink and parchment. But for now, our secret will remain as it is.

Summary
Mike and Will have been together for a couple of years, even when distance made loving each other difficult. Will lives in Lenora Hills, California. Mike lives in Hawkins, Indiana. Somehow, they make it work.
In the spring of 1990, Will comes home to Hawkins, and like most teens in love, their actions become reckless. By summer, Mike is placed in a position. A pregnant omega whose family head alpha is rejecting his unborn pup.
So Mike runs.
With only some cash, dreams, and clothes that he stole from friends and left behind by Will, he makes his way to California in the hopes of making it to the Byers' residence before his baby is born. Mike is willing to do everything he can to achieve that dream, because for once he wants to be the one to write the ending of his campaign.
Even though there is a chance that there won't be a single waterfall.

Summary
What would happen if Will Byers was never found during the events of Stranger Things season 1? How would he survive the upside down? How would the people of Hawkins react?
Will breathed in a ragged breath. Black smoke poured from his mouth as he tore himself free from the wall. He collapsed forward, coughing and gasping on the cold, moist floor.
His heart pounded in his ears as he shakily scrambled to his feet. Eyes darting around the abyss, he started to run. And he ran, and ran, and ran.
His feet pounded on the ground when suddenly he found himself on a familiar path. Finally, something familiar. Will sprinted through the woods, as a feeling of hope filtered its way through the panic. He was getting there, he was gonna be safe, it was finally within reach.
Castle Byers.
The pain in his chest and legs screamed at him to rest, but he couldn't risk stopping. He pushed himself further, calves aching with each step. Suddenly, a loud screech echoed through the air from somewhere up ahead.
Will skidded to a stop as the monster moved on the path ahead. It was in the way, standing between him and safety.- Language:

Following the events of the Season 5 Volume 1 Finale, Will Byers has finally tapped into his true powers. It's too dangerous to stay at the Wheelers' house anymore, so the party builds Will a small cabin in the woods to keep safe. Naturally, Mike Wheeler decides to live with Will to keep him company, as any best friend would do. Two boys living in a cabin with one bedroom to share; what could possibly be suspicious about that?

It was really just his luck that a hulking monster lumbered out of the woods and directly onto his driveway. Just his luck that he threw enough parties when his parents were gone that the neighbors had long tuned out any noise that came from his yard. Just a nice cherry on top of the fucking cake that, even if anyone did hear him screaming when claws tangled in his jacket and pulled, Steve honestly wasn’t sure they’d have cared enough to bother anyway.
