Dom Ilya and Sub Shane. Good introduction for kinks. Author did extremely well concocting intense scene with eroticism, tenderness and utter devotion while maintaining the characters of the original book. The elements are well balanced and I love that the story is solely focus on Ilya and Shane and no one else with the exception of 2 fics. Ilya takes care of Shane and did everything he can so Shane feels safe and Shane reassuring Ilya for what he did and put complete trust in Ilya is so romantic. It also warms my heart that Ilya begin to ask for things for himself sometimes and Shane still go ahead to try something even though he is less confident or uncomfortable in those area. You really feel how deeply in love those two are and the healthy relationship with lots of communication they have in each fics. Adore the dynamics and I can totally see this happening for those duo as a long term couple after post Longgame era with their freakiness.

Well written, realistic. Drug dealer Ilya and drug addict Shane, author has ways with words to describe heartbreak, pain, suffering and powerless. I feel every single bit of it and had to pause reading before I can continue when Ilya was beside Shane who was in so much pain and ask to get high beside Ilya. The sheer agony of Shane is just too painful. Ilya and his brother though not close but did not end in bad term. Like the way the author wrote those two. Give me courage to try again, who is currently at rock bottom and doesn’t see the way out.

Omega Shane & Alpha Ilya. First fic after Vegas penthouse with Shane dropping, 2nd fic with both in the cottage sharing heat and rut, which is a masterpiece. I’ve never seen anything like this. All the elements are blended in harmony, the tenderness, the spicy smut and the emotional ache. Everything flows so naturally, the witty banter and chirps, the spicy yet tender sex scene. I am just marvel at how creative the author is, with the heat room, the collar and the toy.. can’t stop screaming while reading.. it’s so fucking hot!!! I like the ending where Ilya doesn’t give mating bite to Shane, it felt realistic from the personality of the books and I believe that’s what both of them would want, to delay until later. Would love to bind fic into physical copy if possible

Love the gradual built of their relationship using endearment from last name, first name to Alpha/Omega as well as the heartbreak each has with the scent patches, and golden eyes. Story line loosely follow the original heated rivalry but added more layer to fit omega verse.

The roommate interaction is sweet and domestic. The depiction of struggle with respect to Shane’s eating disorder is palatable, and very well done where I haven’t seen in any other fics.
