Summary
Wednesday Addams is part of the elusive Addams Family. They are the richest, most mysterious family in the world. They are eccentric but not supernatural, except for their reanimated hand, Thing. Wednesday is 28 years old and owns a small bookstore called the ‘All Together Ooky’. This story is not in the same universe as the Wednesday TV show, but instead incorporates aspects of her other incarnations. Wednesday is not emotionless and does not avoid touch in this story, but she is selective about who she interacts with.

Enid is totally cool to go along for the ride while Wednesday finally sees where Gomez has been coming from all these years.
None of this is canon compliant; All characters are aged up because I didn't feel like writing a high school fic, no matter how cool the school is. As always, enjoy the fluff, friends.

Enid Sinclair is from an infamous clan of Riders and Tamers, and she has never been more desperate. After years of refusing to tame even a single beast with her family's methods, let alone a monster or Kin, she is eventually shipped off to Nevermore Academy, supposedly a last-ditch attempt to remove the stain on her family's bloodline of a child who won't bend to their instruction and methods. She figures that, worst-case scenario, she gets a chance to be the master of her own fate, and she has big plans for her future.
Wednesday Addams is a Kin without a Rider, and she is just fine with that. Descended from the Great Kin that founded Nevermore Academy of Bonds, she came to the academy with great uproar and expectations, but as of yet, none of her classmates have even seen her monstrous form. She attends just as many Rider classes as she does those for the Kin, and rumours abound that she can't transform after all, despite faculty assurance.
Slowly, the two come together, and realize they can do more together than alone.

"Nothing to worry about, just the effects of the curse," Wednesday explains, lying a bit, but only by omitting core information, like the fact that Wednesday is now manic with the desire to caress Enid's cheek and watch them redden with blood.
"It's still there?" Enid exclaims and Wednesday winces a little before Enid winces back at her outburst but Wednesday is proud and glad that Enid doesn't apologize for being herself for that suited her best.
She was a fierce creature of the moon, worthy of an Addams' obsession, apologizing was beneath her.
"It's incurable. Did I not tell you yet?"
"You did not!"
Enid wants a dance partner to practice with so that she could enjoy the Nevermore ball and Wednesday volunteers, although after much persistence. Feelings emerge but so does problems. Can they both find each other in sickness and in health?
