This poor kid is slated too go through so much abuse it's not even funny XD
He's supposed too get molested by his bullies, his coach, his foster mom, his teacher... Man, someone should investigate that school, lol.So far we're on two chapters as of Aug 2024. Hopefully this keeps updating!
So this has been moved to the writer's drafts, where it's been for ages. Still a hot premise even if I can't actually see the story anymore. Thank god for bookmark commentary!

In an alternate timeline, That Thing At The Lake doesn't quite happen, but severs Chase's relationships with his friends, and gets him labelled a "problem child." He grows up with that stigma, watching that one moment at the lake ruin his entire life. Then, on the first day of school, he finds himself in a class with an old friend, and gets stuck in another class with a fellow problem child. Can he make amends for his past and patch up some of his old friendships? Or does his reputation as the problem child control his life?

It's a tragedy this author stopped posting. I can only hope they're alright and still around. They write so well, and get right into the heads of all the Echo characters.
This story explores the mindset of a Chase that got stopped from killing Sydney, and the boys are hot on Sam's trail. I wish them the best of luck catching and exorcising that demon. -

surprisingly good, unfortunately has been either completed or dead for years.
It's a good Sasuke X Naruto fic, where subtle changes led into Sasuke thinking Naruto has a crush on him (which he does) and it just flows along for 77 whole chapters of goodness.
