Strawhat was reported to be in Impel Down, trying to break out Fire Fist Ace. What the World Government didn't know was that this caused a domino effect of epic proportions.
Sabo would rather kill himself than not do anything. His brothers were counting on him.

Summary
You've always been adaptable. You're the kind of person who gets thrown into situations head-first and makes the best of what you've got. This particular situation, which you're 99.999999% positive is some kind of super intense hallucination or drug-induced fever dream, is pushing that ability to the extreme. Because as far as you can tell, you are suddenly in Eiichiro Oda's fictional world of One Piece and being pulled out of a treasure chest by none other than Whitebeard himself and, oh yeah, you're a baby. Like literally an infant... You're just going to have to see where this goes.

“LUFFY!”
They are close. So close.
But not close enough.
The executioner raises the blade.
“STOP!” Nami’s scream echoes through the square, broken and raw.
Lightning flashes, painting the scene in stark, blinding white.
The blade falls.
Luffy’s body crumples forward, the grin never leaving his face.
And the storm breaks.
The rain pours harder, drowning out the screams of his friends, his allies, as the Pirate King dies.
Luffy, the second Pirate King and initiator of the third Great Pirate Era, is executed at Mariejois’ Grand Execution Square. Everyone of his allies, now nearly 30 years in the past, remembers this. Except for the former pirate king himself.
Or;
Luffy gets executed, and most his allies get sent back in time during the strawhats childhood with their memories- except for Luffy.

That has to be the stupidest name for a guy who isn’t even wearing a hat that Ace has ever heard. It’s definitely fake, definitely come up with on the spot, and it almost makes him so annoyed he stops crying. Ace just glares up at “Hat” through blurry vision instead.(portgas d. ace has an older sibling, who is definitely, one-hundred percent not his little brother monkey d. luffy from the future, because that would be stupid. right?)

The Whitebeard Pirates try to adopt him, the Straw Hats insist he’s their baby brother, the Revolutionaries keep attempting to retrieve Dragon’s nephew, and a very large Sea King keeps ‘kidnapping’ him for his own safety.
Tsuna just wants to travel peacefully.

Ace was captured by Blackbeard, Marshall D. Teach, his former brother, and comrade. Ace has never been angrier but he can't do anything because he was chained down in seastone in the brig of Teach's illegally acquired marine warship. He has to do something with his aggression, and since Teach has said on multiple occasions that he would turn Ace in for a Warlord seat, Ace knew that whatever he did, Teach wouldn't kill him.
Ace makes the most of the opportunity to annoy Teach and his crew.
