Summary
/prev. Title: The Threads That Bind Us/
What begins as a convenient lie, two heroes bound together for optics, protection, and survival, unravels into something neither of them can safely name.
Bakugou carries the weight of being watched, of being wanted only when he is useful. Todoroki moves carefully through a world that has always decided his worth before he could speak it.
Around them, the city is tightening under quiet policy shifts, careful language, and a rising political tension. As omega-targeted killings escalate and the lines between Public Safety and something far darker begin to blur, they find themselves pulled into a case that is less investigation and more performance.
Someone is watching, someone is staging messages in blood and history.
📆📆Updated Schedule:
Approximately two weeks per chapter, with a minimum of one chapter per month and a maximum of two chapters per month, subject to various real-life circumstances.**Please check out "A Match Not Made" by Sifvain. Their story inspired this work, and it is an incredible journey to dive in to.**

Summary
Harry Potter is being ignored by everyone who’s supposed to care, takes a fall off a ladder and wakes up in a hospital. With nowhere left to go and a deep mistrust of adult intervention, he escapes to London for a night where things, naturally, get worse. He’s got no plan, a bruised skull, and a wand he’s not allowed to use. What he does get is Severus Snape, pressed into reluctant babysitter duty by Dumbledore himself.

Summary
Harry's sixth year ends with the Dark Lord's takeover. At some point, Harry wakes from unconsciousness. He is ordered back to school. Things get weirder: after a vicious attack, Voldemort saves his life. Which makes it clear: he is a Horcrux.
Should Harry stay, or join the rebels? Use his new power over Dark Marks, or resist the temptation? Should he fold or rage against the Dark Lord and his mentoring act? Aim for influence… or his own destruction?
~Gen, dystopian and plotty AU: mentorship between Harry and Voldemort, and between Harry and Snape - both at a snail’s pace. No main ships.
A/N June 5th: loving this next chapter and got my energy back. So a little more patience :)!

Voldemort spoke: "The Horcrux isn't really gone, is it?"Harry frowned. "What do you mean?"
Dumbledore turned to Harry, perplexed - dismayed even. Voldemort watched him with unholy glee. They had paused their duelling.
“You see?” the Dark Lord hissed. “He will always be mine.”
“Harry,” Albus said gently. “You just spoke Parseltongue.”
