Jason's been out of town with the Outlaws for the past couple of weeks. He'd come back banged up, bandaged, and reeking of sweat and gunpowder when Tim invited himself in and dragged him into a kiss that says all the sappy shit he could have said instead. I missed you and I'm glad you're safe and I was worried. After a really long shower and a shit ton of Chinese takeout and a couple minutes to rebandage a few wounds, Jason practically dragged Tim into the bedroom and showed him just how much he missed him while he was gone.
Bone-deep and content, Tim finds himself watching Jason more than his phone, eyes had-lidded. He often scolds Jason for the nasty habit, teasing him that he's going to wreck his lungs, and how's he gonna fight crime when he has COPD? Jason just rolls his eyes each time and tells him to mind his own damn business.
Now, in the post-sex haze, Tim's enraptured. Jason sits statuesque framed in the dark backdrop of the window.
His cigarette is pinched between his first and middle fingers.

He always believed that once you died that was it and it was over, dark, nothing. He did at a time think heaven and hell could be an option but that sort of faith got kicked out of him early on with the years of living on the streets.
But guess he was wrong and now he was haunting the apartment his mother died in and being a ghost had even more down sides than he first thought. If he used too much energy to interact with phycial things he'd black out and one big one had him waking up to a renovated apartment and someone was moving in.
