Steve grumbled a 'thanks' and snatched it from between his fingers, puffing away in the quickly cooling evening air. Thick fluff fell down from the sky which meant the monsters were out. Like how a spider was supposedly always near you but you couldn't tell unless you saw it.

    Steve took a pull of his cigarette, irritated at Eddie for putting his mouth on it. But calling Eddie annoying was like calling the very dark sky anything less than creepy. Steve flicked a bit of the fluff off his jacket sleeve, then his hair, then eyelash. He looked up to see the sky growing redder as the clouds approached closer. He felt his stomach drop along with the barometric pressure before the sky grew darker.

    Eddie stopped, his cigarette midway to his mouth to just stare at the red and black sky. "Why are the clouds so metal looking?" He asked before Hawkins was plunged into blackness. He felt arms around him and before he could somewhat work his feet again, Steve had flung them back into the cellar under the coffee shop.
