Comment on The "Search Within Results" Field and You, Pt. 2

    Hi, I'm sorry but my friend and I can not figure out how to use the - or not. I have tried putting it into additional tags and we've both used the posted tutorial and we can't figure out how to do it :(
    Where do you put that information in? I love Ao3 and it's certainly not criticism, just my personal preference but AU/Omegaverse is so proliferant I am going through pages and pages of fics to find some that doesn't include those as I can't figure out how to filter those out as I can't find anywhere something that says search within results.
    Can you possibly at some point post a visual tutorial so we can see where to use the not/- within the search function. Thank you!

      try
      -omegaverse
      in the search within the result

      I use -incest -rape in the search within the result section and it filters it right out.
      (as long as it is in the title, warning, or description. I think.)
