  • 2. sirius had gotten increasingly nervous around remus ever since sirius figured out he had a crush on remus
  • 3. so they were cleaning in silence and sirius was cleaning so fast his hand started to bleed
  • 4. and he was done his side of the trophy room so he went to the side remus was working on -

  • - and remus noticed his bleeding hand and wiped it with a cloth
  • 5. he didn't let go of sirius' hand and he ran his thumb over sirius' knuckles and smiled at him
  • 6. sirius realized remus knew about sirius' crush
  • 7. remus was looking at sirius' lips and moved in and sirius moved forward the last little bit -
  • - but right when their lips were about to touch filch walked in
  • Ugh
  • this whole detention scene was in absolute silence btw
  • 8. while they were walking back to gryffindor tower (still in silence) remus said (in his inner monologue) -
  • - "he couldn't take it anymore and needed to know if what had almost happened was a fluke or something more"
  • 9. so he pulled sirius into an empty classroom and asked if sirius had wanted to kiss him or if remus was overstepping
  • 10. sirius said he wanted to kiss him
  • 11. remus asked how sirius felt about him and sirius said "my feelings towards you are ardent"
  • (apparently he uses uncommon words when he's nervous)
  • 12. remus said his feelings towards sirius are also ardent and sirius just went :O
  • 13. then remus just grabbed his face and kissed him
  • 13. then they proceed to make out and remus starts kissing sirius' neck -
  • - and that's when he says "remus will you be mine?"

  i liked chapters 6-29—they are all connected (chronologically; it’s a mini-series) and i LOVED IT! it’s a classic friends to lovers story with a lot of established relationship fluff, it’s so cute! implied sexual content, nothing graphic; it could probably get away with a T rating (there is making out and talk of boners but no real smut)

  ft. the “huh i wonder why remus holding my hand felt so good and why i hated the fact that i had to let go and why i keep staring at him” trope, also features the “lily hates sirius but sirius goes to her one day to try and figure out why he’s constantly staring at remus” trope

  obviously lily answers that question with something along the lines of “you keep staring at him bc you have a massive crush on him you idiot” (which sirius initally denies but soon just accepts it and is now more obsessed with him; he got a boner when remus just looked at him and smiled)
