6 of Them

Summary:

6 beings, each unalike in many ways, are teleported into a white void somehow and somewhere in the Undertale Multiverse. They are unsure how and why they are here, but one thing is for certain, they don’t plan on staying in the void for a second longer. But as little as time passes, they soon realize that they have…changed.

For the better.

And the worse.

So, shall you see how this plays out for them?

Note: Hey y’all! I’ve been rewriting a lot of these chapters lately, so things may change during and after the completion of the entire story. First work, so rushing around with how this works and all. Thanks for your patience and have fun reading!!!

Chapter Text

Many say that only way to succeed in life is to keep moving forward. But what if you keep falling deeper, deeper, and deeper, until all that’s left is a white abyss and strangers who seem to be stuck just, like, you…

Gaster stirred, blinking away the tiredness from his eyes as he groaned in pain. A headache had hit him like a freight train as soon as he opened his eyes, blinking frantically as he rubbed them open. White, that’s all he saw as he took in his surroundings, pulling his black cowboy hat over his eyes, mainly his right as he sat there. He looked himself over, checking if he had any injuries, but he felt nothing from the rush of adrenaline coursing through him except the splitting headache that racked his brain.

‘Where am I? How did I get here?’ should have been his first priority. But he sat there, his only thought on one thing.

Did he fail his duty?

He recalled that he was running, running from the lab, which was collapsing due to [REDACTED]. He tried to lead Asgore out, but they had gotten separated. He thought he would be fine, but he heard screams. Asgore’s screams just as they both escaped. Well, he thought he did. He was sure he had but he was swallowed by…something. Was it the kings doing? Had he failed him? Had he left him just like…

The thought of that made him sick to his stomach as he curled into himself. He didn’t even know where he even was as his mind raced with possibilities. He wanted to get out, no, he needed to get out. He couldn’t stay here any longer. But as his brain ran around like a lost puppy, he heard shallow breathing coming from behind. He jumped up onto his feet, swiftly pulling his hat over his eyes again for good measure before turning around, and throwing a punch at the unknown intruder. As his punch landed, he didn’t even feel them move. Was his punch even effective? But as he looked up at them, he saw that very person, that very large person, was towering over him. Before he could even figure who he was, he shoved them away, or shoved himself back as he still didn’t move. The intruder watched Gaster back up, his eyes widened with pure terror as the intruder himself was as well, very startled. Gaster was caught so off guard that he tripped over his own footing, stumbling as he almost fell backwards. His headache making it worse as his mind spun around, and around, and around.

“Woah, woah. Hey, I’m not going to hurt you!” The unknown person raised their arms, backing up from Gaster, his eyes locked on like a predator to prey. He sounded quiet young, teenage even. And when turning to get a better look after his head finally stopped spinning, he saw just how huge he was. He was even taller than him in fact, almost as tall as Asgore. Their skin tone was a sort of pink, with a red denim jacket, black pants, and pink boots. He also had an accessory, which was a pink belt. The unknown intruder kept looking at the skeleton in front of him, his circular head gazing around in confusion.

“Uhhh, who are you exactly??” The shape stated as he slowly lowered his hands.

“I’m Blixer. And you?” The shape put his hands on his hips, raising his brow as he settled into an on edge stance.

“Gaster…” He quickly said, eyeing the shape.

“...What?”

“...” Then he remembered. No one could understand him! He spoke Wingdings.

“O-oh! Apologies. I realized you do not speak my language. I am Gaster.” The skeleton quickly signed, hoping he knew what he was saying. Even though Blixer’s educational skills weren’t great, he knew just how important sign language really was and learned, even though it took longer than most. And now, it would pay off.

“Ah, Gaster. Nice to meet you! So uhh, where are we?” Blixer questioned as he squinted, looking around.

“Well-“ Gaster started but suddenly stopped, hearing a sort of cracking sound behind him. Both of them turned, spotting an animalistic creature, who had taken her hands from their back and was now stretching. Seems she just cracked her back. She was a sort of pale yellow, and very fluffy. She had shoulder plates, which looked very much like a knights, a sleeveless black shirt, black arm sleeves, and a small, brown journal, which laid next to them on the ground as she bent over to pick it up, still not noticing the two. As she finally turned around, Gaster and Blixer could see that she had a yellow scarf around their neck. The creature made eye contact with them as she scratched behind her head in confusion.

“Ah~ oh boy. Ow… oh jeez. Where the fuck am I- WHO ARE YOU!” The unknown creature shouted as she jumped back in surprise, reaching for something in her brown scabbard around her waist, which wasn’t there.

“Oh fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck-“ She frantically looked between her scabbard and the other two captives, suddenly baring her teeth and unsheathing her claws menacingly.

“Woah, woah. Both of you really need to chill when you first meet strangers.” Blixer turned to look at Gaster, who was giving him a very disapproved look. But soon, they heard another voice speak up.

“Better question is where the hell are we?” A  feminine voice spoke, filled with a sour after taste as the metal accessories on her boots clinked against each other when she took a step forward. She looked to be more human, besides the stitches that marked where her limbs bent. Her skin tone was a bit pale, like a rag that had been used for a long while. Her messed up hair, a dirty blond dyed red at the ends flowed in front of her glassy, gray eyes as she squinted at each of them. She had an oversized gray t-shirt that hung loosely over her left shoulder, black cargo pants with many pockets sewed on with a black jean like material, gray socks, and black gothic boots with small metal accessories on the laces. But what stood out most was the pair of wings on the side of her face that could cover her eyes. Their white feathers gleamed. Even as some feathers were gone, leaving the structure bare on some parts, it still added nothing but beauty to the pale complexion.

“Even better question! Why the hell are we here?” The group turned to see a goo monster who was also the same shade of pink as Blixer, but a bit darker. Their colors did not mix, but floated around each other, like a galaxy. They wore a pale green shirt, a black jean jacket with ripped sleeves, leather bracers, black baggy pants, brown boots with green laces, and a black shawl around their neck, which seemed to also work as a hoodie. They were lying face down on the floor staring at them, confused and maybe even a bit scared from their expression as they pushed themselves up from the ground.

“Can we not be smartasses right now, who even are you?” The doll turned towards the blob, her quizzical expression changing to a more annoyed one.

“Bloom, the weird blob who lives in the forest.” Bloom took a bow as they adjusted their shawl.

“Well used to, I guess. And now I’m here. And who may you be, Ms. Judgmental?” The humanoid-doll rolled her eyes at Bloom’s words.

“Dee. And Sr. Life Story, I wasn’t being judgmental. I was stating the obvious since apparently, none of you seem concerned with being in this giant white void…World? Never mind, I don’t  care for specifics right now. Just…where are we?”

“Ooh, burn! Also, no clue to where we are. Was just asking him the same thing when you two melodramatics showed up.” Blixer looked down at Gaster, who looked like he was about to break from holding in his frustration. The four of them stared at him wide-eyed as Gaster gave an annoyed sigh before answering.

“... As I was saying, I ha-AH CRA-” Just as Gaster started signing, he looked up to Blixer only to see a person falling through the air. But he couldn’t move fast enough as the small robot crashed into to him, knocking them both to the floor. The robot had skinny legs, almost like a needle, with their arms being the same but ending with metallic claws. Their torso was shaped like a metallic box as a sort of gamma ray measured their power usage. But what was the most fascinating was the sort of four sided star of light of a head which showed an eye right in the middle, which was scanning every single one of them. Two metallic rings were clamped through the left point of the star as earrings as their head swayed side to side, looking up from the accident they had caused.

”Ah y-you’ve got to be kidding m-me...” The robot muttered as they laid on top of Gaster’s stomach, turning to look at his face as they continued, glitching through words.

“Sorry m-mate, d-d-didn’t mean to crush you. Well not r-really crush but l-land... on t-top of you. H-Hehe?” Gaster lifted his head, giving them the maddest look he could possibly muster before he let his head drop back onto the floor in pain.

“You little- uhg.” He didn’t bother with chit-chatting as he pushed them off, kicking them lightly again with his foot for good measure. The robot huffed as they started walking away to who knows where, when they almost got crushed by the animalistic giant of a cat? Who knows. They tried scurrying away from her, but she picked them up by their torso and held them in the air as they struggled.

“Heh, look at them. Small people getting angry is always the funniest thing.” She smirked at the funny sight, dropping them after a few more seconds of entertainment. They ran behind Blixer, hiding in his shadow as their face glowed brighter from the lack of light.

“Oh bu-uzz off. I-I’d like to not b-be crushed like a s-stupid bug thank you ver-ry much.” They climbed up onto Blixer, sitting on his shoulders without permission as they crossed their arms in defiance. Gaster still laid on the floor, watching all of them interact. Blixer was looking up at the robot on his shoulders, the tall cat warily watched Bloom and Dee small talk and awkwardly apologize to each other. Jeez this place is driving him nuts, he’d rather be at home than here right now.

…If he can manage to get home, at least.

Void. Something that seems to have no end or beginning. Where was the beginning again? Who even knows at this point. Who cares anyway if you’ll never find a way out. Emptiness is what I would call it, like a blank sheet of paper. Well, it’s exactly like that I suppose, as it is white. But it’s different too, as you run out of that bleakness with just a few swishes of color, while this place is just ongoing, a never ending supply to splatter your wildest dream upon. But, that hasn’t happened yet in this Universe. I’ve been coming back to it often, but nothing still. I’m not surprised. Maybe the creator hasn’t started out their hopefully well-on-its-way project. Right? But I am skeptical. This world, its more empty than it seems. I could not figure out how this universe, this whiteness, formed, like it wasn’t created by a human…But that’s impossible to even consider, there is no other way it could have formed, I’m certain! I’ll just have to keep waiting. But, if nothing happens, I may have to scrap it before they show up and destroy it themselves. If they do it, even with nothing inside this universe, it adds another ache in Dreams chest Blue can’t fix. Their feelings are more fragile than they appear. But as of now, I will just have to wait and see if anything will change.

-Ink :3

Ink tightly rolled up the scroll as he gazed into the empty void, floating in his massive paintbrush, Broomie. Soon, he turned to leave. Nothing was happening, just like all the other times. If nothing happened soon, he may have to destroy it if it is chosen for their next attack, “The Bad Sans”. Such a ridiculous name they created, they aren’t even as bad as they put themselves as. They’ve done terrible things, yes, but not as bad as what Ink had heard, seen, and even felt from his past experiences, being the Guardian of the AU’s and all. He sighed, such a title with an enormous amount of power must be upheld 24/7, becoming tedious even. He started to float away when a sudden glitchy feeling tingled within his mind, a soft whisper, telling him to just wait a little longer.

“Įńk, ĪNĶ! Ŵæìt fǒr ťhem!” The whisper called out, coming from seemingly nowhere and everywhere at once.

“Why must I wait, is there something coming?” Ink muttered to himself. He had heard voices similar to this one, as they sometimes appeared within an AU, haunting and sad mostly. But this one sounded more distorted, desperate even as they could barely get the words out. Just as Ink stood there, dumbfounded, a whoosh of a portal could be heard, with a sudden thump following soon after. Ink glared at the noise, only to be shocked to see… another skeleton… but they looked awfully different. They laid on their side, limp, seeming to have fallen from somewhere as they slightly twitched from time to time, their black cowboy hat perfectly covering his eyes as Ink flew in close, but didn’t dare touch the ground. He could barely tell where this AU stopped or even started, and he’d rather be safe than sorry. The skeleton seemed similar to the popular character known as Gaster, a speculation in the Fandom if he is even a skeleton to begin with or being Sans and Papyrus’ father. Black jeans, black shoes, gray turtleneck oh, even a black coat…Stars, this guy has such a bland sense of fashion. But as Ink kept observing him, he felt as if something was off. The skeleton’s hands still did have the same holes punctured in, but a fine gradient stained his finger tips, leaving them a dark, ominous black, just like the splotches on Ink’s face. Well, this was new. But as he went to take a closer look, the skeleton stirred, weakly pushing his upper half up as he squinted, pulling his hat down further as he took in the new sight, not noticing Ink. Ink could see that his face was all the same, a small chin scar on the left. And on the right, he could faintly see the end of the same scar that blinded his right eye. The skeletons seeing eye glowed a shallow red as he took in bland sight, dizzy and confused. But as he turned, Ink was back on his paint brush, floating above him, unseen.

Ink would rather keep it that way.

He sat there a bit more, just watching him until more portals appeared. Five in total, each dropping a different person around the void. He kept watching a bit more. They fought, they joked, they got annoyed, but they talked. Now this, Ink couldn’t keep to himself. A new AU it seems, but the characters, they didn't look to be from the Undertale universe, odd. He thought for a second. He should go down there, greet them, they will probably forget anyway. But the strange occurrences to how they got here. He really should tell someone. He groaned in frustration. It’s better to at least check if other worlds were the same as this, inspiration always comes from the strangest places, and maybe it was from another AU. He turned, creating one of his ink portals and flying through, leaving the unknown AU behind as its creatures still chatted along. The creatures and their AU’s mysteries will soon be uncovered, one way or another.
