Summary
With Omega Earth pressuring Alpha Earth with relentless attacks, the agents of Alpha Protocol are exhausted and overworked. Cypher and Omen are no exception. With Brimstone constantly pressuring Cypher to intercept transmissions to get ahead of attacks, there is no time to eat or sleep. Omen has been on mission after mission, one of the few able to function on little sleep and sustenance. The two, while in the presence of others, are able to keep up appearances and seem perfectly fine. Behind closed doors, though, their eyelids beg to embrace sleep, their bodies sag to the floor, and their minds mush. But there is no time to rest, to worry about the increasing panic attacks or the heavy burdens piling up on their shoulders. They have to keep going, to keep fighting. Cypher because he's the only reason they aren't taken by surprise, and Omen because a bullet wound to him is better than the death of someone else.
Really, it was only a matter of time before one of them fell. But who will catch them if both are to fall?
